Augusta Judith Ann (Judie) Lewis passed away peacefully at Maine General, with a hospice nurse holding her hand. She was the daughter of the late Gladyce and Richard Holmes of Augusta. Judie worked for Parks & Recreation, Bureau of Taxation and was a Tupperware dealer. Judie loved her family & friends. She cared for her niece & nephew Sue and Shawn. She also enjoyed playing a license plate game with her sisters. Judie loved listening to her brother's band at the Windsor Fair. She enjoyed trips with her grandson (Corey) to Nashville, and for about 15 years Judie would attend the Windjammer Days in Boothbay with her daughter Wendy and granddaughter, Vanessa. Judie is predeceased by her husband, Charlie Lewis, a son, Jeff Bridges, brother-in-law Bill Small, and a nephew Shawn Small, and her mom and dad. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Bridges, sisters Joyce Small, Jany Choate (Philip), brother Dick Holmes (Terry) and stepdaughter Sonya Lewis, grandchildren, Vanessa Gardner (Jason), Corey Harris (Autumn), Hannah Bridges (Steven), Amber Bridges (LeeAnna), great grandson Steven, step grandchild Andrew Akles, nieces Susan Small VonOesen (Jamie), Carolyn Choate (Craig), nephews, Eric Choate (Dorothy), Justin Holmes (Juliet), Ian Holmes, Rick Holmes (Jackie), and Chad Maillet. Friends Mary & Marilyn. A special thanks to her doctor, Scott Schiff-Slater. Many grand nieces & nephews and cousins. There will be a private graveside service at Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
