MOUNT VERNON -- Judy Bryant, 60, of Long Acres Road, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at her home.
She was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., on March 20, 1951, the daughter of Ralph and Julia (Komlos) York.
Judy graduated from high school and attended college in West Palm Beach. She had worked as a graphic designer for J.S. McCarthy Printing for over 15 years. She was currently employed as a CNA in the Dementia Unit at the Maine Veterans' Home, where she has worked for over 10 years. Judy was a kind-hearted person who truly enjoyed her job working with and caring for the residents. She has been a member of the Ancient Ones of Maine, a pre-1840 Living History Club, for over 20 years.
Judy is survived by her husband of 36 years, David W. Bryant, of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Gary York of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Jim York of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; one niece; and her dog, Simon.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
