WINTHROP- In Loving Memory of Kevin Michael Harrison
Kevin Michael Harrison, 63, of Winthrop, Maine, formerly of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on February 19th, 2024.
Kevin was born on July 5th, 1960, to his late father, Albert Harrison Jr. (Peachy), and stepmother Anna Harrison (Tootsie), along with his late mother, Janet Reed, and stepfather Robert Reed.
Family meant everything to Kevin, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Kevin is survived by his former wife Brenda Nappi and their children Katherine (Timothy) Brayman, Anna, Christina, and Matthew Harrison. Kevin was a proud grandfather to Carlie, Ella, Sage, Zachary, and Eli. He leaves behind his beloved siblings Rita (Richard) Lowry, Carolyn (Richard) Parfitt, Keith Reed and his late wife Dawn Reed, Albert (Dorina) Harrison III, William (Kelly) Harrison, Robert Harrison, Gary (Cindy) Harrison, and Kerrie Harrison.
In addition to his loving family, we remember with gratitude the enduring presence of Dottie Spitzer, Kevin's long-time ex-girlfriend. Kevin was a complex man, and Dottie managed to hold on to him the longest, a testament to the depth of their connection. Despite the challenges they faced, their bond endured, and her presence in his life added a unique richness to his journey. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dottie for the love and companionship she shared with Kevin throughout the years.
Kevin spent his working years as a machinist and a talented carpenter. He was proud of his accomplishments and shared them with anyone willing to listen. His craftsmanship and dedication were apparent in every project he undertook. His love for carpentry extended beyond personal projects as he found pleasure in helping others.
In his leisure time, Kevin found enjoyment in various hobbies. Golfing, bowling, fishing, and riding his bike around town were among his favorites. He had a passion for socializing at local pubs, leaving a trail of friends from Florida to Maine and everywhere in between. His love for sports was evident as he watched with enthusiasm, occasionally winning a friendly bet.
One of Kevin's joys in life was spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. His love for dancing, zest for life, and ability to make friends with anyone he met will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be planned in the coming weeks. Details will be shared with friends and family once arrangements are finalized.
May Kevin rest in peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and joy to those who knew and loved him.
