Winthrop - Lee A. Murray, 55, of Main St. died unexpectedly Tuesday May 15, 2007 at his home. He was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 2, 1951 the son of James and Mary (Ingraham) Murray. Lee graduated from Cony High School, class of 1969, where he excelled in gymnastics and cross country. After high school he attended the University of Maine, Orono. He spent most of his young adult life in Fort Myers, FL. working construction, before returning to Maine in the early 1980?s. He later met and married his wife April (Bachelder) Murray. Lee was a multitalented, caring person who excelled in whatever he chose to do, including drumming, with or without the drums. In his later years, his interests turned to work with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and computers. He will always be remembered for his mischievous blue eyes. Lee is survived by his wife April Murray of Winthrop; sisters Catherine Tetenman of Poland and Rebecca Murray-Littlefield of Bristol as well as numerous other brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting or services at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop.
