Obituary

AUGUSTA- Linda R. (Brouillard) Lund, 76, passed away in her home on September 21, 2023, after a brief illness with her loving daughters at her side. She was born on September 19, 1947, to the late Lucien and Minnie Brouillard of Halifax, Mass. Linda graduated from Whitman-Hansen High School, class of 1965. As a testament to her drive to be independent and ability to do just about anything, Linda had enrolled in a Women in Construction program in the 1970's, which wasn't an easy path during that time. She enjoyed being able to build and excelled at the masonry trade. As a bricklayer, Linda built houses, chimneys, and even a shopping mall in NH. Eventually, she decided to leave the physically punishing masonry trade and became a real estate agent. She was very particular about the homes she sold, always going above and beyond to clean and stage them to her exact standards. Linda loved gardening and had a green thumb with indoor plants and her beautiful gardens. She loved nature, particularly walking in the woods with her dogs, Rosie and Diesel. She was insightful, creative and an artist. Her work has been displayed at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, Maine and she would often gift her beautiful paintings to family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters Traci Tenggren and her husband, James Paone and Kendra Frangos and partner, Timothy McCoomb; grandchildren Colby Tenggren, Alexandra and Costa Frangos; and great-granddaughter Hadley Tenggren. As well as her brother Lucien Brouillard Jr. and his wife, Donna; and her sisters Pat Fernald, and Judy Confar and husband Earl. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she adored so much. She was predeceased by her sisters Florence Murdock and Joan Bromley. Per Linda's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society at pethavenlane.org. Arrangements are in the care of the Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop where condolences and memories may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the funeral home website by visiting www.khrfuneralhomes.com
