LEWISTON- Lorraine M. "Rainey" Foster, 71, passed away at Russell Park Rehabilitaiton & Living Center in Lewiston on April1, 2025. Rainy was born in Portland on March 23, Graduated Winthrop High School in 1972. Rainy loved the outdoors and traveling as well as fishing and hunting. She started working at Globe Albany in Monmouth after high school, then moved to Alaska and worked as a technician on the Weather Service. She then worked at Tripen in manufacturing and moved back to Alaska for another 2 years. She returned home and was a nanny for a good friend, Cindy before moving to Rockwood where she picked up a few more odd jobs and retired shortly after. Rainy is survived by her brother, Douglas of East Winthrop and friend Rhona of Wayne. As well as other relatives and close friends. She is predeceased by her parents. At this time, there will not be any services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of your choice.
