Obituary

WAYNE - Lucille F. Bristol, 80, passed away on Feb. 19, 2005, after a long illness. She was born on April 22, 1924, in Sodus, N.Y., the daughter of Burt Snyder Terry and Frances (Metzgar) Terry. She moved to Wayne with her husband and three children from Rochester, N.Y., in 1967. Since that time she worked several jobs: as a bookkeeper for Progressive Distributors, Ramada Moc, Isaacson Lumber, Leeds Center Variety Store, Wayne Corner Store, treasurer for the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Association, and most recently for the Winthrop Area Federal Credit Union until the onset of her illness. Lucille was also active in the Wayne Community Church Ladies Aid, Friday Club, past member of the church choir, and volunteered in the past at the Cary Memorial Library. Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Herbert S. Bristol; her sister Jane Gridley-Cage; and both parents. She is survived by her three children, Donald Kip Bristol and his wife, Deborah Bristol, of Hampden, Linda Jane Morin and her husband, David Morin, of North Wayne, and Virginia Margaret Smith and her husband, Vernon Smith, of Leeds; brothers Charles Terry of Rapid City, S.D., and Donald Terry and his wife, Madeline, of Pine Ridge, S.D.; seven grandchildren, Trevor Bristol of Kingwood, Texas, Kendra Bristol of Bangor, Chad Morin and his wife, Laura Morin, of North Hampton, N.H., Derek Morin of Daytona Beach, Fla., Ryan Morin of Portland, Michaela Johnson and her husband, Steve Johnson, of King George, Va., and Albert J. Smith of Fort Bragg, N.C.; great-grandchildren Kyle and Brooke of North Hampton; and nephews and nieces and their children across the country. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Wayne Community Church. Gifts may be made in Lucille's memory to: Wayne Community Church Ladies Aid, P.O.
