MOUNT VERNON- Mr. Lynn G. Poole, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at home with his loving family at his side. He is the husband of Paulette A. (Castonguay) Poole with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Lynn was born June 28, 1960, in Canton, New York. He is the son of Gordon Poole of Dekalb Juntion, NY and the late Pearl (Hutt) Poole. He was a graduate of Maranacook High School Class of 1979. Lynn resided in Mount Vernon for many years and previously resided in Augusta and the family farm Circle P in Readfield. Lynn worked for the Local 7 Iron Workers for over 20 years until his retirement. After retiring he worked as a fence installer for Pine Tree Fence for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. He loved his dogs and was an avid gardener. In addition to his loving wife Paulette, Lynn is survived by his three children, William Poole and his wife Jasmine of Mt. Vernon, Nicholas Poole of Farmington and Carolyn Poulin and her husband Steve of Fairfield. His two sisters Jennifer Williams and her spouse Robert of Belgrade and Deborah Bright of Winthrop. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Hunter, Brynle and Rella as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mom, Lynn is predeceased by his brother William Poole. In honoring with Lynn's wishes there will be a Celebration of his life at a date and time to be announced.
