AUGUSTA - Lynn Bell Glusker Taylor, 61, of Augusta died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at MaineGeneral Medical Center after struggling with health problems for the past several years. She is at peace now, claiming the reward promised by her Lord and Savior. Lynn was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., on June 19, 1945, the daughter of Alfred S. and Wilda Belle (Wilkie) Glusker. She was a graduate of Saugus High School in Saugus, Mass., and Washington State University. Prior to her illness, Lynn was an active member of the United Methodist Church. She was also active in the National Diabetes Association, the Augusta Community Chorus and several other community groups. She also loved gardening, music and sewing. Lynn came to Maine 30 years ago and worked for the Department of Human Services as an assistant planner until her disability retirement five years ago. Ms. Taylor is survived by a son, Jason Kincaid of Florida; her mother, Wildabelle Airy of Hallowell; her sister, Nancy Ann Glusker of Pennsylvania; her two brothers, Alfred Glusker of Arizona and David Glusker and his wife, Nancy, of South China; seven nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St. in Augusta, with the Rev. Jean Wood officiating.
