AUGUSTA- Lynne Marie Richmond, 77, passed away unexpectedly on October 20th, 2022. She was the loving daughter of Harvey Greely Walls and Mary Elizabeth Grindle.

Lynne graduated from Mount Desert Island High School in 1963. Lynne was a homemaker for much of her life, and loved caring for her children, Denice and Reid. She greatly cherished family time and would always be available to see her grandsons, Aaron and Ayden.

Lynne was always crafty, spending many weekend afternoons sewing throw pillows and matching clothes for her, her children, and even her daughter’s barbie dolls. She also found enjoyment in cross-stitching various home décor pieces, including flowers and cats. She was a long-time lover of cats and had many of her own over the years.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Denice Young, grandsons, Aaron Young and Ayden Young, and two great grandchildren, Weston Young and Olivia Young.

Lynne is predeceased by her parents, along with her siblings Terrence “Terry” Walls, Candace “Candy” Walls, Brian Walls, her son, Reid Bryant, and many close friends.

There will be a graveside service at Ledgelawn Cemetery in Bar Harbor held at a later date.
