HALLOWELL—Mark David Bergeron, 54, of Hallowell, died peacefully, Friday June 12, 2015 in the quiet woods near his home. He was born in Augusta, July 4, 1960 the son of Adeland F. and Agatha (Gregoire) Bergeron. Mark’s life touched many others in countless ways and he was always there with a helping hand no matter the need, and he ensured the job at hand was always done correctly - his way! Mark will be remembered for his devotion to God, love of family and friends, living life on his terms - no matter the consequences, carpentry skills, and his constant teasing of others which was experienced by anyone and everyone close to him. He had a very simple approach to life and was not weighed down with the many distractions that exist in this world. Mark lived life for today, not yesterday and not tomorrow, one day at a time. We should all take a page from his book. Mark was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Paul, Rick and his wife, Donna, and Mike and his wife, Tammy; niece, Leanne Battery and her husband, Harry and their children, Dustin and Hailey, niece, Lauren, nephew, Andrew and numerous other relatives. There will be a celebration of Mark’s life at his home on the Outlet Road in Hallowell on his birthday, Saturday July 4 starting at 10:00 AM going into the afternoon. The family realizes and understands that many will have already made plans for this holiday weekend, but finds it fitting and meaningful to have this special day of celebration on his birthday. For those who are able to attend, please dress casually as Mark would have wanted it that way.
