ALBION~ Mercedes Labrador Ga Huard, 65, passed away at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta on October 4,2024 with her loving husband, John P. Huard, and friends by her side. Mercedes was born in Tagbayani, Philippines on March 15, 1959, to Leonora Diong (Labrador) Ga Pacifico Litang Ga. Mercedes (aka) Ace; was wed to John P. Huard, On July 26, 2015. In her free time, she enjoyed time spent communicating with her families and friends in the Philippines and her many friends in the United States. Mercedes earned her U.S. citizenship in September of 2022 and was very proud of her accomplishments. She was a very devout Seventh Day Adventist and an active member of her SDA Church in Searsmont, Maine. In here native Philippines, she was a Literature Evangelist providing health guides and Bibles for her countries SDA church. Psalm: 91. Mercedes also loved driving her car and four-wheeler, gardening, cooking as well as sewing. In addition to her parents, Ace was preceded by her Son Crispin Ga Tanala, her sister Marivic Tomon, her brothers Melvin Ga and Jaime Labrador Orillo. Ace is survived by her husband John, and her sisters Marilyn Ga Jiminez and Marilou Ga Dagante. Her sons Ben T. Huard, Pacifico Ga Tanala, and his wife Mailine P. Tanala; her youngest son Junmer Clement Ga Tanala, and his wife Jade Ann E. Tanala. Ace also has several Grandchildren: Melana M. Huard, Nuscah Mer E. Tanala, Niecah Ann E. Tanala, Nicole Jade E. Tanala, Paul Asher P. Tanala and Junmer Clement E. Tanala Jr. She will be missed by many of her family and friends. There will be a traditional Philippine Vigil, Church service and interment by Mercedes L. Ga Huard's family.
