PITTSTON - Michael E. Davenport 73, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2023. He is the husband of Susan A. Mauro. Mike was born on December 30, 1949, in Woburn, Massachusetts and grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts. He is the son of the late Bartlett N. and Agnes (Reddy) Davenport. He is predeceased by his brother, Barry Davenport. Mike moved to Maine in 1980. He was a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years. He enjoyed trivia night with friends, golf, playing music and travelling. Mike will always be remembered as a loving husband, great father and family man. He was a member of the Farmingdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mike was a deeply faithful and curious man who has built fellowship with many congregations in his life. He is survived by his wife Susan A. Mauro, his sons Bartlett Davenport of Vassalboro, Carey Davenport of Iowa, Corey Cook of Burnham and Thomas Mauro of Winthrop, his daughter Janice Cook of Missouri, his sister, Kathleen Picarski of Massachusetts, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mike's Memorial Service will be in the Winthrop Congregational Church UCC, 10 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
