AUGUSTA: Nancy L. Kendall, 87, of Augusta passed away at the Maine Veteran's Home on June 16, 2021. She was born in Wolfeboro, NH on April 21, 1934 a daughter of the late Daniel and Freda (Dorr) Craigue. She grew up in the Wolfeboro area and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro.
On April 7, 1954 she married Alvin Kendall and they started a family together. During that time, Nancy took great pride in raising her family and tending to the household as a dedicated homemaker. She was a former member of and enjoyed attending True Memorial Baptist Church in Rochester, NH and was a current member of Rome Baptist Church. Her true passion was taking care of and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived her son, Pastor Steve Kendall and his wife Donna of Augusta, her daughter, Dolly Libby and her husband David of Windham, her nine grandchildren; Shane and Melissa Minnich Josh and Sarah Bonneson, Scott Kendall and his wife Bekki, Kevin Kendall, Kristin Culum and her husband Almir and Todd and Crissy Hough. She also leaves behind her nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and soulmate, Alvin Kendall, her granddaughter, Amy Minnich, her great-grandchildren, Jemilah Culum, and Noah Minnich, her four sisters and her two brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 24, 2021 at 11am at the Rome Baptist Church, 480 Rome Rd. Rome, ME followed by burial and committal prayers at Pine Grove Cemetery in Kennebunk.
