LEWISTON—Norma B. Child, 68, 0f Peru, Maine, died June 29, 2013 at Marshwood Center, in Lewiston. She was born in Livermore Falls, October 5, 1944 the daughter of Peter and Virginia Caron. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1964. She married Elbridge Child, of Peru, in 1984. Norma was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and going to BINGO. Mrs. Child was predeceased by a son, Wallace Trask; her twin sister, Norine Ryder; a stepsister, Simone Langlis and two brothers, Louie Caron and Narcisse Caron. She is survived by her husband, Elbridge Child, of Peru; a brother, Jean Paul Caron, of Sidney; a stepsister, Jeanette O’Rourke, of Malden, MA; her nieces, Maria Ryder, of Poland, ME and Darlene Freudenberg, of Sidney along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, in Augusta on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home and Cremation Service, One Church Street, Augusta.
