CHELSEA - Pamela A. (Pass) Bumford, 54, of Chelsea, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. She was born in Gardiner October 24, 1953, the daughter of Leroy and Margaret (Smith) Shea. Pam graduated from Hall-Dale High School in 1972. She was a founder of the Central Maine Sidewinders CB club. She worked for the Community Action Program as head cook. She owned and operated Pam's Ceramics and Catering by Pam for more than 20 years. She also worked at Riverview Credit Union for a time and was employed by the state of Maine in taxation, license service, dealer and agents and, most recently, in the title section of motor vehicles. She also worked for Kelly Temporary Services and Abbots Market at one time. Pam was past president and state marshal for the Emblem Club. She loved to hunt and fish with her soul mate, Rick Bumford. She loved camping in Lowell and Eustis and enjoyed panning for gold in Byron. Mrs. Bumford was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Shea, in 1995; her brother-in-law, Ernest Sirois; her nephew, Ernest Sirois, Jr. and her father-in-law, Richard Bumford, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Richard Bumford Jr.; her father, Roy Shea of Pittston; her three daughters, Denise Turmelle and her husband, Mark, of Randolph, Jessica Bumford, of Chelsea and Kaila Pass of Hallowell; a son, David and his wife, Valerie, of Farmingdale; a stepson, James and his wife, Karen Parker, of Augusta; five grandchildren, Katlyn, Trinity, Kassidy, Ryan and Kirsten; a sister, Jean Sirois, of South Gardiner; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
