MANCHESTER - Patricia Anne Finnemore Clark, 75, died unexpectedly on Monday evening, Jan. 10, 2011, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Patricia was born on April 21, 1935, in Limestone, the daughter of Leonard R. Finnemore and Maxine (Everett) Finnemore. She was educated in Elmonte, Calif., and Caribou and Augusta schools. She graduated from Cony High School in 1952 along with her late husband, Weston 'Windy' Clark. Pat's children were her pride and joy, and her grandsons were the light of her life. She was past president of Farrington School in Augusta and of the Winthrop Junior Mothers Club. She served on the Winthrop School planning board and on the Winthrop Budget Committee, as well as on the Board of the Winthrop Youth Athletic League. She founded the Winthrop Lassie Softball League, where she served as coach, and played on the ladies Winthrop softball team. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, and a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Pat and her late husband, Weston, were founding members of the Hillandalers Snowmobile Club of Winthrop. They enjoyed many family activities and snowmobile field trips, interacting and exchanging rides with other clubs all over the state of Maine. Patricia was an active, longtime member of the Kennebec Valley YMCA in Manchester. She was a member of the Cobbossee Colony Golf Club and called it her second home. She volunteered at many organizations, including the Maine American Lung Association, the Maine Heart Association , and many political campaigns. She retired from the State of Maine after working for various departments, and at the State Legislature as a legal secretary and administrative assistant. Pat was predeceased by her husband, Weston W. Clark; her beloved son, Bruce Weston Clark; her beloved grandson, Jason 'Bub' Ruman; her great-grandson, Andrew Bruce Clark; her brother, John Paul Finnemore; her sister, Jacqueline R. Colomy; her nephew, Kenneth E. Colomy, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Calvin Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Clark Ruman of Monmouth; grandsons Christopher Clark and his wife, Lori, of Winthrop, and great- grandchildren Wesley and Piper, M. Miah Clark and his fianc?e, Katie Millett, of Winthrop, and great-grandchildren Kallie and Mason, and Jacob Clark of Winthrop; sister Myra E. Finnemore of Augusta; sisters-in-law Sylvia Finnemore Thistle of Skowhegan, Doris Clark of Jefferson and Geraldine Clark Russell of South Bristol; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. Committal services will be held in the spring at East Readfield Cemetery.
