HALLOWELL - Patricia W. Morrill, 74, of Hallowell died Monday, June 28, 2004, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Patricia was born in Blue Hill on Jan. 11, 1930, the daughter of Hugh L. and Mable (Allen) Morrill. She attended schools in Augusta and Hallowell, graduating from Hallowell High School in 1948. Miss Morrill served 32 years and 11 months in the Bell Telephone System, retiring in 1981. Patricia fulfilled a dream in trips to England and nourished her love of books with wonderful volumes, which surrounded her. She was a talented and creative writer herself. Pat loved the ocean and made possible weeks of wondrous vacation times in cottages by the sea for her family. Thoughts of her sisters and their happiness and welfare were always utmost on her mind. Her heart overflowed with the love she had for her nieces and nephews. Patricia is survived by two sisters, Margaret Ward of Clinton and Faith Beckim of North Wayne; a niece, Amanda Beckim of Kissimmee, Fla.; nephews Joey, Deric and Jonathan Tripp of Wayne and their families, along with several cousins. There will be a private graveside service in Sedgwick at a later date.
