READFIELD ? Philip C. Hastings passed away Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston as a result of injuries that he suffered from a tragic accident on April 18. He was born in Framingham, Mass., the son of the late Clyve W. and Thelma M. (Stiles) Hastings. He is held in loving memory by his wife, Marie Hastings; his sons, Mike Hastings of Greene and Don Reiter of Greenfield, N.H.; his daughters, Deborah Adams of Raymond and Aimee Reiter of Fayette; four grandchildren, Ellie Adams, Michael Adams, Gabriel Hastings and Evan Hastings; and a brother, Brian Hastings, of Harwich, Mass. There will be no calling hours. An informal celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop.
