Obituary

FAYETTE- Priscilla P. Bolduc, 89, passed away at Glenridge Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care in Augusta on September 15, 2025. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft on October 27th, 1935, to the late Edward and Louise (Bishop) Preble. Priscilla graduated from Foxcroft Academy before starting her working career at Travelers Insurance Company out of Hartford, CT. Priscilla met her husband James Bolduc Sr. in Connecticut, and they shared 59 wonderful years together. They settled back in Maine where they purchased a country store in Sangerville. Priscilla and James sold the store years later and Priscilla became the Registrar of Deeds for Piscataquis County, where she happily retired from. They enjoyed time spent with family at their camp on Sebec Lake and later traveling to Myrtle Beach. They were great dancers and always enjoyed a good card game with family and friends. Priscilla loved going to auctions and yard sales in hopes of finding a unique treasure. She enjoyed going to casinos, visiting family and traveling, especially if it included a balcony with a water view. Priscilla is survived by her son, James Bolduc Jr. and his wife Beth of Hudson, MA, and her daughter, Bambi Stevens and husband Chris of Fayette. Her grandson Jeremy Bolduc and step grandchildren, Sarah Stevens, Christi Stevens and Chris Stevens and their respective families. As well as many extended family members and close friends. She is predeceased by her parents and loving husband as well as her brother, Chris Preble and sister, Elizabeth Preble. Priscilla's graveside service will be held on Friday September 26th at 11 o'clock at Fayette Mills Cemetery, Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maine General Hospice, P.O. Box 828, Waterville, ME 04903-0828. Arrangements and guidance are in the care of the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church Street, Augusta, Maine.
