Obituary

Ramona A. Worster, affectionately known to many as simply Mona, was born in the small town of Bancroft, Maine, on December 27, 1941. Her life was a radiant tapestry, woven with threads of family love, enduring friendships, and the simple joys of life. Mona was a woman of incredible strength and resilience. She was a devoted homemaker who put her heart and soul into nurturing her family and creating a warm, welcoming home that was the hub of numerous memorable gatherings. Mona's zest for life was evident in the way she embraced her hobbies. She loved attending fairs, watching horse pulling, and working on crossword puzzles. Her hands were rarely idle, as she was often found crocheting or engaging in various crafts. These activities were not just pastimes for Mona; they were a testament to her creativity, patience, and commitment to lifelong learning. More than anything, Mona cherished being with her family and organizing family reunions. These gatherings were not just events but celebrations of shared history, love, and the enduring bonds that tie a family together. Ramona is survived by her beloved children, Paula and Ray Fortin, Paulette and Ronnie Cote, Darrell and Jill Worster. Grandchildren Peggy and Mike, Ashley, Kristi, Sara, Austin, Brad, Troy, Ryan, and Tim. Great Grandchildren Haley, Madison, Dakota, Jasmine and Chase. Siblings Linda and George, Gwen and Steve, Lillian and Steve, and Carla. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Elva Gray. Her Daughter Karen and two Brothers Terry and Galen. The legacy of Ramona's love, tenacity, and dedication lives on through her family and the countless lives she to. A graveside service at Drew Cemetery will be at a later date. As we bid farewell to Ramona, let us celebrate her life and honor her memory. We invite you to share your memories of Ramona and upload photos to the memorial page www.khrfuneralhomes.com .
