CHELSEA- Richard Allen Wing, 90, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 4, 2023. He was born in Gardiner, Maine on May 15, 1932, and was the son to the late Fred and Jennie (Pease) Wing. Richard graduated from Cony High School in 1950. After high school he opened Wing's Garage in Augusta. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and spent lots of time is his large home garden. Richard is survived by his 8 children, Allen Wing of Augusta, Richard Wing Jr. of Chelsea, Timothy Wing of Augusta, Carol Sivret of Augusta, Michael Wing of Augusta, Andy Wing of South Carolina, Sandra Lind of Augusta, and Ellen McGuire of Gardiner. His 2 brothers, Lawrence and wife Priscilla Wing of Winthrop, and Robert Wing of Augusta and FL, along with his 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, and brother, Fred and wife Alice Wing of Lady Lake, FL. There will be no services at this time, per Richard's request.
