Obituary

FAYETTE-Robert ?Bob? Edward Lewia, 69, of Fayette, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. He was born in East Winthrop, July 4, 1932, the son of Raymond and Gertrude (Gilcrest) Lewia. He was educated in Winthrop schools. Bob was a plumber by trade and had been employed by several companies in the area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Estelle Swift. He is survived by his three sons, Keith Lewia, and his wife Lyneta, of Wilton, Timothy Lewia, of Fayette, and Craig Lewia, of Biddeford; two daughters, Tammi Leavitt, and her husband, Tim, of Winthrop, and Robbin Mullen, and her husband, Jeff, of Wayne; two sisters, Ruth Perry, and her husband, Buster, of Winthrop, and Dorothy Belanger, and her husband, Lucien, of Winthrop; five grandchildren and several cousins and nieces. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Lakeview Cemetery, Route 2, Wilton. Donations in Bob?s memory may be made to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Pet Haven Lane, Augusta 04330.
