AUGUSTA ? Rodney John 'Buba' Armstrong Jr., 44, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, June 17, 2002. He was born in Augusta, May 29, 1958, the son of Rodney J. Armstrong Sr. and Beverley J. (Taylor) Armstrong. Rodney enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a loving person who was fun to be with. His family and all his friends will sadly miss him. He is survived by his parents; his brother, Amos Armstrong and his wife, Kathy, of Randolph; his two sisters, Gail Fowler and her husband, Rick, of Augusta, and Lisa Armstrong and her boyfriend, Cory Maxim, of Gardiner; four nephews, Travis Allen, and Dylan, John and Bryan Armstrong; five nieces, Amanda and Tiffany Allen, and Annissa, Deanna and Trista Armstrong; his dog, Jagger, and his cat, Shania. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, Augusta.
