Obituary

WINTHROP - Roger H. Arsenault, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 27th, 2022. He was the loving husband of Christine (Dinsmore) Arsenault with whom he shared 23 years of love and devotion.

Roger was born on May 16th, 1967, in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was the son of Ann Gosselin of Salem, NH and the late Harold Arsenault. Roger resided in Maine for the past 23+ years. He would often comment if he hadn't moved to Maine, he wouldn't have met his wife.

Roger worked at Hannaford in Augusta for over 20 years until having to retire due to ill health. He was great at his job and loved doing it.

Roger treasured his time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, frisbee golf, playing cards, traveling, and watching a good movie. He loved watching sports of any kind and was a big Bruins fan.

In the summertime he loved going to Lake Winnipesaukee to be with his family. He had a love for dancing and was often the first one out on the floor, and he could dance!

Roger had such a huge heart for animals and people. If he could have had his way, he would have invited the whole State of Maine over every day. He very much enjoyed being around people and had a zest for life.

In addition to his wife Christine, Roger is survived by his blended family. Alisha Spaulding of New Gloucester, Kristopher and April Winner of Lisbon Falls. His brothers, Kevin Arsenault and his wife, Amy of Winthrop, Christopher Arsenault of Augusta, and John Arsenault of Brunswick. Roger is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Perrault and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH. Roger had five grandchildren from his blended family whom he loved dearly. Nathan and Noah Winner, Danica Spaulding, Brelyn Spaulding, and Kennedy Brush.

In honoring Roger's wishes, funeral services will be private, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Roger and Christine's home on April 23rd.
