Ryan Mitchell Welch "Mitch" Obituary (1971

Manchester ~ Ryan Mitchell Welch, “Mitch”, passed way unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Ryan was born in Augusta, Maine on June 23, 1971. He was a graduate of Maranacook High School and attained many I.T. certifications during his work life. For the last 15 years Ryan was sole proprietor of RSS Technologies of Manchester, specializing in I.T. sales and equipment installation. Ryan had a gift for working with people and making lifelong friends. His great aptitude and experience working with POS systems made him the go-to person in his area. He loved his work, especially because it allowed him to interact with many people on a daily basis. He was incredibly loyal to his friends. Ryan had a great sense of humor and loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family. If that was on a golf course all the better. Ryan was a very intense person and had the ability to inspire life’s strongest emotions, pain and love in those who knew him. Ryan is survived by his mother Diane, brother Patrick, nieces Lily and Caroline, sister in law Kerry, longtime close friend Laura, Aunt Lynne and Uncle Paul Ramsey of Hanover, Maine, Uncle John and wife Julie of Orrington, Aunt’s Mary Goolsby and husband David of Howland, Ellen Beerits and husband Christopher of Alna, Dr. Jean Brown of Rhode Island and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Patrick Welch Sr., Uncle Raymond Welch and wife Leslie paternal grandparents Florence and Raymond Welch as well as his maternal grandparents, Vesta and Elmer Mitchell. A service for Ryan will be held at the Manchester Community Church on Route 17 on Sunday January 17th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation of any amount to the Augusta Humane Society, 10 Pet Haven Lane, Augusta 04330.
