HALLOWELL ? Sally A. Courtemanche, 70, of 25 Second St., died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at Robinson's Health Care Facility in Gardiner after several weeks of declining health. She was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Houlton, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Saulis) Joseph. She was a longtime resident of the Lewiston-Auburn area and attended local schools. She loved to read and listen to classical music. Sally took great pride in crocheting afghans, which she gave to friends as gifts. She is survived by her husband Roland of Hallowell. There are no other surviving blood relatives. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A private graveside service will be held in the Hallowell Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, 68 Second St., Hallowell.
