Chelsea - Scott Lee Stewart, 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 30, 2025. He was born on May 16, 1957, the beloved son of Lee and Marilyn (Norton) Stewart. From an early age, he was known for his curiosity, strong work ethic, and ability to fix just about anything, traits that stayed with him throughout his life.
In 1997, Scott met the love of his life, Deborah. From that moment on, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and dedication to family. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home while raising their children, always placing family at the center of everything Scott did. Scott was a genuinely kind may, who cared deeply for his family and was always willing to help others.
In his younger years, Scott worked as an automotive repair mechanic and enjoyed building hot rods on the side. After graduating college, he began a long and meaningful career as a respiratory therapist, where his compassion, patience, and steady presence touched countless lives until his retirement.
Retirement did not slow Scott down. He enjoyed travel, and he and Deborah took several trips, enjoying the adventure of seeing new places. He stayed busy woodworking and lending a hand wherever it was needed. He took great pride in remodeling homes, a camp for his wife and himself and a house for his son, Bryant. He shared his knowledge and skills, teaching anyone who was willing to learn. Whether it was fixing a broken appliance, solving a complicated problem, or building something from scratch, Scott was the family's "MacGyver"—always willing, always capable, and always happy to help.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, Lee and Marilyn Stewart, and his in-laws Malcolm and Linda Perry. He is survived by his wife, daughter Kristina Giroux and her partner Gregory Griatzky and grandchildren Jasmine Griatzky, Kolby Griatzky, and Lillyahna Griatzky, sons Adam Giroux and his wife Brianna, Bryant Giroux and his partner Nina Phelps. Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
