Hallowell-Sonja J. Kalloch, 54, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 unexpectedly.

Sonja was born in Bath, Maine on October 7, 1970. She is the daughter of the late William I Peterson, Jr and Jane E. Peterson.

Sonja resided in the Hallowell Farmingdale area for the past 35 years. She graduated from Maranacook High School in 1988. She also attended Winthrop High School.

Sonja loved Veterans and proudly worked for the Veteran’s Administration as an IT specialist for the past 14 years and previously worked for Brunswick Naval Air for 21 years.

Sonja is survived by her spouse Keith Kalloch of Farmingdale, sons Adam Kalloch and Tyler Kalloch of Farmingdale, and her grandson Trever Kalloch of Farmingdale. Sonja is also survived by her Mother Jane Peterson of Randolph, brother Bill Peterson and his wife Patricia of Florida, brother Michael Peterson and his wife Dawn of Maine, sister Karen Charest and her spouse Michael of Maine as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Sonja was predeceased by her father William I. Peterson, Jr, her nephew Ben Peterson and her brother Kurt Peterson of Guam.

A celebration of life will be held on March 08, 2025, at the Le Club Calumet, 334 W River Road, Augusta from 11am to 1pm.
