Gardner, Massachusetts- Stanley Kvingedal, 83, previously from Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Tuesday October 16, 2012 in Gardner, Massachusetts. Mr. Kvingedal was born in Boston, March 9, 1929 The son of Johannes Kvingedal and Borghild ( Fosse) Kvingedal. Stanley worked in the Furniture Industry until retirement. He loved the Ocean, Boating , and entertaining family and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean in 2011; his parents; grandson, Lars Kvingedal and brother Bjarne Kvingedal. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Kvingedal, of Waterville; son Roy Kvingedal of Gardner, Mass.; three grandchildren, Alisha Pare-Hawkes and her husband Millard, of Benton , Andrea Michaud-Wood and her husband, Kevin, of Vassalboro, and Andrew Kvingedal, of Winchendon, Mass.; six great-grandchildren; a sister Dagmar Emmons; brother Earl Kvingedal; sister-in-law Harriet Kvingedal and several nieces and nephews. All services for Stanley will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 2 Sixth St., Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064.
