Mount Vernon ~ Steve R. Lukachy, 50, of Mount Vernon, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home. He was born in Denver, Colorado on March 18, 1965, the son of Steve and Delores (Basor) Lukachy. Steve graduated from West High School in Denver, CO. and served his country with the U.S. Army. He was a self- employed carpenter/contractor, building for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and being with his family. He was predeceased by his mother Delores Lukachy and a son Seth L. Lukachy. He is survived by his son Steve Lukachy of Lakewood, CO; two daughters Simone and Megan Lukachy of Mount Vernon; his father Steve M. Lukachy and his wife Fran of Lakewood, CO.; three brothers, Michael Lukachy and his wife Laci of Denver, CO; Michael Lagos and Matt Lagos, both of Massachusetts.; a sister Anita Caranza and her husband Jerry of Lakewood, CO; his fianc Lorie L. Lyons of Mount Vernon; a grandson Jayden and granddaughter Jaylee; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. There will be no visiting or services at this time.
