Susan Morrow Tuttle, 64, passed away at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine on Tuesday, March 26. She was born on March 14, 1960, to the late John and Rena Dupuis Morrow.
She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She married Stephen "Steve" Tuttle on March 27, 1982.
Susan loved reading, but her biggest passion was traveling. In 2020 she walked her first 5K and was hooked. She was on a mission to walk through every state in the USA with her dear friend, Aimee Kleinpeter Klimczak. Together, they completed walks in 27 different states. Susan and husband, Steve, celebrated over 40 years of marriage in Hawaii last fall.
Susan is survived by her husband and two children, Stephen Michael Tuttle and wife Taylor Loper Tuttle of Taylor, Alabama, and Sloane Marcus Tuttle and wife Crystal Lyn Moore of Anchorage, Alaska. She is also survived by her sister, Polly Morrow Himmel and husband Kurt Himmel of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was the proud aunt of Kelly Lee and Michelle Renee Himmel, who both live in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. She was the loving grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters, Stephanie Angelle Tuttle and Kylah Cheyenne Tuttle, of Smyrna Mills, Maine, and Emma Lea Tuttle of Gonzales, Louisiana. They will continue to honor Susan's legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny and Bobby Morrow, and her nephew, Scott Ryan Himmel.
