ACWORTH, Ga. - Tonya M. (Glidden) Butterfield, 28, of Priest Road died unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. She was born in Lewiston, Maine, on Sept. 30, 1976. Tonya graduated from Monmouth (Maine) Academy in 1994, where she played basketball and was also on the track team. Tonya loved her family very much. She enjoyed ice fishing, snowmobiling and playing games with her boys. She recently learned to knit and had made several scarves for them. She was a member of North Monmouth (Maine) Community Church. She is survived by her four sons, Michael Norton, Christopher Norton, Brandon Norton and Zachary Glidden; her mother, Blendine Butterfield of Readfield, Maine; two uncles, Don Butterfield of Mount Vernon, Maine, and Duane Butterfield and his wife, Pat, of Winthrop, Maine; an aunt, Pauline Butterfield of Mount Vernon; and her cousins, Paul, Wayne, David, Phillip and Brian Butterfield. Visiting will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18.
