MT. VERNON ? Vincent J. Ricci, 82, formerly of Bergenfield, N.J., died peacefully at the home of his daughter in Mt. Vernon on June 8, 2003. He was born in Paterson, N.J., Sept. 4, 1920, the son of Nicola and Lucia (Frockastora) Ricci. He spent his youth in the Bronx, N.Y. He served in the 511th Fighter Squadron of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for many years after the war as a production manager. Vincent's hobbies included bowling, golfing and working on jigsaw puzzles. Mr. Ricci was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis; a son, Gregory; sisters, Josephine and Connie; and brother, Anthony. He is survived by his daughter, Juliet Taubner and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Joseph and Vincent; brothers, Emil and Peter; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Memorial donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association chapter in your area.
