RANDOLPH ? Virginia Lucinda Buzzell, 76, died Oct. 20, 2002, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Damariscotta, Jan. 14, 1926, the daughter of Ernest and Elsie (Weaver) Seigars, but was raised by her mother and stepfather, Joseph Geroux, for most of her life. Ginny married Morris 'Ted' Buzzell Sr. in 1945, and they were married 55 years until his passing on March 17, 2000. She worked at various shoe shops during her career and was also employed by Health Tex and a local laundromat for a length of time. Her hobbies included playing the guitar and singing, and she enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, gardening, crocheting, and reading the bible. A woman with a warm heart, she was a mother to many others, always taking time to listen. Ginny was predeceased by her husband, Ted; two sons, Morris 'Junior' Buzzell and Johnny Buzzell; two brothers, Ken Seigars and Maurice Geroux; and one sister, Anne 'Babe' Worstell. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Kincaid and her husband, Tommy, of Randolph, and Terry Foster, and her husband, Clayton, of Nashua, N.H.; seven brothers, James Seigars of Waldoboro, Merle Geroux and his wife, Annie, of Chelsea, James 'Romeo' Geroux and wife, Kathy, of Newcastle, Darryl 'Teddy' Geroux, and his wife, Marilyn, of Newcastle, Herbert Geroux of Edgecomb, Johnny Geroux and his wife, Ginny, of Newcastle, and Neil Geroux of Chelsea; one sister, Marion Webber and her husband, Walt, of Rome, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Duane Buzzell and his companion, Schauntel, and Chris, Charity, and Megan Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Augusta.
