Vladimir Reneyske died November 14, after a short illness.
He was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1935 to Michael and Elizabeth Rynejsky. In 1951, he and his parents came to the United States after World War II, settling in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Vladimir joined the Army in 1956 and served for seven years. He moved to Mount Vernon, Maine, with his wife and infant daughter in 1971.
Vladimir worked for the State of Maine in the growing computer services departments and retired in 2000. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time driving around the state collecting vegetables for local food banks.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eunice, of Mount Vernon, his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Reneyske of Stoughton, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela, in 2020.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to local Rescue Services.
